CED’s work on Bangladesh has been to get an international spotlight shone on some of the extreme abuses of executive power being perpetrated in the country. This includes politically motivated detentions and death sentences, undermining of the constitution and the law by political actors, perpetuation of police brutality including killings.
It has also convened meetings and arranged briefings and events for international organisations on these topics.
